Graduate-level courses typically cost $330 per credit hour for students from SBC churches and $585 per credit hour for non-SBC students. ADVANCE certificate courses are priced at $35 per course. For more details, click here.

Teaching Site Lead

Dr. Josh Hutchens, PhD

Dr. Josh Hutchens serves as Director of the Rocky Mountain Campus and Associate Professor of New Testament Studies at Gateway Seminary. He also serves as a pastor at Overland Church in Fort Collins, Colorado. Prior to moving to Colorado, he served as a missionary in Malawi for six years, where he focused on equipping Malawian and Mozambican pastors. He remains actively engaged in ministry in Africa and previously spent six years pastoring two churches in Kentucky and two years as a missionary in Moldova.

His academic research and writing focus on the letters of Paul and biblical theology. He is the author of Persecution and Cosmic Conflict: The Biblical-Theological Reading of Genesis in Galatians (Wipf and Stock) and contributed to the NIV Timeline Bible (Zondervan). Additionally, he has served as a theological review editor for several study Bible projects.

Josh holds a Ph.D. in biblical theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also earned his Th.M. and Advanced M.Div. He completed his undergraduate studies at Boyce College, graduating with a B.A. in biblical and theological studies and a minor in missions. He has taught as an adjunct for the University of the Cumberlands and Grand Canyon Theological Seminary.
